Thrilled and honored to be sharing this written art.

Updated: Apr 13

This week, the first Little Written Art cards are making their way to our Little Free Library partners. As I prepare the packages, I think about the time and energy that went into each one. I read the powerful words and am touched by what a gift these pieces of art are. Every written art card is a treasure… and each one is treated as such.

Every time I receive a piece of written art in the mail, I read it, place it in a protective folder, and select a Little Free Library partner to send it to. When it’s in the mail, I let the library owner know that a package is on the way so that they can watch for it – and place the art in their library when it arrives.

It’s then that I know I have done my best to lift up and celebrate the writer’s art, while helping to give access to more written art on the community level. It is a truly beautiful position to be in – and I’m honored by it.

Each piece of written art that is shared has the potential to connect with the heart of a reader. It carries the possibility to touch and impact others – people who might connect with a much-needed piece of advice or wisdom, who might receive a reason to smile, or who might be encouraged or inspired by what they read. Each piece carries beautiful possibilities, and spreading it is an honor.

Writers, keep the written art coming so that we can continue to increase access to its beauty and potential.
