Our first batches of Little Written Art have been sent to our network of Little Free Libraries in communities across the country. We’re receiving reports and photos of the cards being placed in the libraries, and we’re hearing amazing feedback from library owners!

Here are a few of the emails we’ve received:
“The written art cards arrived today, and I have placed them in my library. They are wonderful pieces of art. Please thank your writers for me.”
“This is a great project. I love the idea, and I adore the cards. You weren’t kidding when you said the writers are creative and talented. I know my community will love them!”
My favorite email came from a library owner in Montana who said she wanted to keep the written art for herself because she loved them so much. However, recognizing that she had promised to make them available in her library, she went ahead and did so.
It’s a beautiful thing to know that the Little Free Library owners love and appreciate the written art… and that they are honoring the work of our writers.
We have more Little Free Library owners who would like to join the project, and we look forward to sending out more batches of written art cards soon! As more writers take part, we’ll continue to expand our reach, making written art available to readers in more communities across the country.
